National Hybrid Schools Project

The National Hybrid Schools Project at Kennesaw State University conducts academic research, does policy writing and speaking, and hosts convenings of hybrid schools from around the country, many of which are Catholic.

The purpose of the Hybrid Schools Project is to document and analyze those who are creating these new forms of K-12 schooling outside of the conventional education system. Their goal is to produce unique datasets and analyses for publication and to offer guidance to hybrid and microschool founders, educators, policymakers, and researchers interested in these school models.

They also host an annual conference, bringing together hybrid school leaders (and potential school leaders), teachers, researchers, and policymakers. Topics include startup operations, regulatory threats, grants, policymaking, classical education, home and school relationships, innovations, education entrepreneurship, and academic research.
