Epiphany Book List

Epiphany library books

The Feast of the Epiphany is January 6th, 12 days after Christmas. It is often called Three Kings Day or Little Christmas. With this feast, we commemorate the visitation of the Magi to Christ Child. This feast day marks the end of the 12 Days of Christmas, with the eve of the feast day called Twelfth Night. There are some beautiful customs associated with the Epiphany, including special hymns, the chalking of doorways, house blessings, Three Kings Cake, and of course, the celebrate of the feast day in Holy Mass. For many, Epiphany is the day to remove your Christmas decorations, although you can hang on and celebrate the whole Christmas season by waiting until Candlemas to put your Christmas things away.
