Ascension
“If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Think of what is above, not of what is on earth.”
~ Colossians 3:1-2
Christ ascended into heaven 40 days after the Resurrection. Traditionally celebrated on Ascension Thursday, this solemnity is transferred to the following Sunday in many dioceses.
In your homeschool, you can commemorate this feast day with Scripture reading, crafts, activities, and recipes.
