Catholic Homeschooling in Colorado

How to Homeschool in Colorado

There are three different ways to home educate your children in Colorado:

1. Submit your notice of intent to homeschool to the school district of your choice, keep attendance and test records, and meet the minimum 172 of days required for teaching.

2. Use an independent or umbrella school.

3. Teach your own children under your Colorado teaching license.

The laws regulating homeschooling in Colorado require that certain subjects be taught, but they do not stipulate how or in what order. You have lots of freedom in your own Colorado homeschool to use what works best for your family!
